Col Nolan A Stone


Col. Nolan Stone is the Air Division Mission Support Officer. He was appointed to this position on 20 November 2008 following his tour as commander of the 4th Air Wing.

Upon being commissioned in the United States Air Force, he served in various aircraft maintenance positions in the 12 years of service in both the active and reserve components. His service in the Texas State Guard began in 1993 where he served as assistant Operations Officer in the 19th Brigade and commander of the 1st Battalion, 19th Brigade. When the 4th Air Wing was activated, he was appointed as commander of the 436th Air Support Group and went on to become Vice Commander and Commander of the 4th Air Wing.

He is currently a teacher in the Dallas Independent School District where he teaches leadership instructions to middle school students.
