Colonel Brian L Dumble is the Commander of the 4th Air Wing, Air Division, Texas State Guard.
He serves as the officer responsible for providing direction and guidance to the senior leaders within his command,
working to provide a mission-ready trained force, prepared to meet the tasks as assigned by the Headquarters,
Air Division. Col Dumble’s staff of professionals ensures that all members of his organization and
subordinate commands are trained to deploy in support of the mission.
Col Dumble entered the military in Canada, and served for 17+ years, before being relocated to
Texas by a former employer.

has been a member of the Texas State Guard since 2002. He served in the 401St Air Support Group
as the Senior Enlisted Manager. Then was assign to the Dallas - Ft. Worth area to help establish
the TXSG - 401st Honor Guard which later became the 4th Air Wing (AW) Honor Guard. In September
2006 he was assigned as the 4th AW Administration Chief. January 2008 he was laterally promoted
to serve as the 4th AW Command Chief Master Sergeant.
CMSgt Bender served 22 1/2 years in the Navy and retired a Chief Petty Officer on May 31, 1998.
